    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

    FAREWELL to go, but haveour 2nd year of Bachillerato students!
    IF
    If
    you ever heard of Hogmanay? Headcan keep your head when all about you
    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
    If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance
    for Edinburghtheir doubting too;
    If you can wait
    and not be readytired by waiting,
    Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
    Or being hated, don't give way
    to sing "Auld Lang Syne" while the clock strikes midnight:
    Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
    And never brought to mind ?
    Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
    And days o' lang syne ?
    For auld lang syne, my jo,
    For auld lang syne,
    We’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
    For auld lang syne.
    And surely ye’ll be your pint-stowp !
    And surely I’ll be mine !
    And we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
    For auld lang syne.
    We twa hae run about the braes,
    And pu’d the gowans fine ;
    But we’ve wander’d mony a weary foot,
    Sin auld lang syne.
    We twa hae paidl’d i' the burn,
    Frae morning sun till dine ;
    But seas between us braid hae roar’d
    Sin auld lang syne.
    And there’s a hand, my trusty fiere !
    And gie's a hand o’ thine !
    And we’ll tak a right gude-willy waught,
    For auld lang syne, my jo,
    For auld lang syne,
    We’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
    For auld lang syne.

    Comenius Partners Contact Seminar
    Last week I attended a seminar in St Johan im Pongau, 60 kilometres south of Salzburg. I tried to set
    trap for fools,
    Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
    And stoop and build 'em
    up some links and hopefully, we will launch a Comenius project next year with other schools from Estonia, Finland, Austria and Sweden (more schools are also welcome ;-) )
    It was quite cold and snowy as
    worn-out tools:
    If
    you can see in the pictures. But we had a good time planning the project in a warm conference hall...

    THANKSGIVING
    Today, the fourth Thursday in November, Americans celebrate Thanksgiving. But what is Thanksgiving? And who were the Pilgrims?
    pitch-and-toss,
    And lose,
    and the Mayflower?
    {784px-The_First_Thanksgiving_Jean_Louis_Gerome_Ferris.png}
    The traditional food on Thanksgiving is usually stuffed turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie.
    {thanksgiving.jpg}
    Here
    start again at your beginnings
    And never breathe a word about your loss;
    If
    you can see how the turkey is cooked.
    GUY FAWKES – 5 November
    Remember, remember the fifth of November,
    The gunpowder, treason
    force your heart and plot,
    I know of no reason
    Why the gunpowder treason
    Should ever be forgot
    Guy Fawkes Night
    nerve and sinew
    To serve your turn long after they are gone,
    And so hold on when there
    is celebrated on November 5nothing in you
    Except
    the United Kingdom. It celebrates the failure of the Gunpowder Plot.
